Future Plan

The college has developed and upgraded itself a lot within the last forty years, and some new curricula and support services have been added to its regular activities – but there is yet a lot to do. We are very keen to open UG Honours courses in Botany, Zoology, Physiology and Micro‑Biology; PG courses in Nutrition, Geography, History, Music, Education and B.P.Ed.; and certificate courses in Physiotherapy and B.Ed. for girl students in the near future. We also need a separate power house, central laboratory, auditorium, research centre and museum hall, and are in very urgent need to extend our playground for both students and boarders.

The construction of a full‑fledged Staff Quarter, Staff Common Room, and Alumnae Association Building are also on our priority list. We strongly believe that the UGC, the State Government, other philanthropic organisations and, of course, our well‑wishers will come forward and extend their generous support to this end, so that we can make a smart stride towards autonomous status first, and then deemed‑to‑be‑university status.
